Shiva Stuti

Shiva, the Auspicious, is worshipped as Shivalingam. The literal meaning of lingam is symbol, and the Shivalingam is the symbol of the Absolute, Formless God, the Parabrahmam. This symbol makes the intangible Parabrahmam, tangible and easier for the devotee to comprehend. This Compassionate Shiva blesses and guides His devotees in their journey of life. Shiva is sometimes referred to as the ‘destroyer’. That is only one of His many facets. To protect His devotee, Shiva becomes the destroyer and with this destruction of evil, goodness and life regenerates again.

In this app Shiva Stuti, we present the following Shiva slokas: Bilvashtakam, Dvadashajyotirlinga stotram, Lingashtakam, Margabandhu stotram and Shiva Panchakshara stotram. All these slokas are available in Devanagari, English, and Tamil scripts. The meaning of these slokas are explained in Tamil and English. All the slokas and the explanations have text synchronized audio. Additional audio features provide a seamless User experience.
